Description (Scope and Content)

Includes black and white photographs of Rev. Harold H. Kelley, director of SCI from 1934-1948. Rev. Kelly is seen with Bishop Charles Gilbert and Rev. Lawrence A. Harkness; with Rt. Rev. William T. Manning, the Archbishop of York Cyril F. Garbett, and president of the Board of Managers, Clarence G. Michalis, in 1946; at the launching of the MS Rio de la Plata in Chester (Pa.) in 1941; and possibly giving the invocation on the steps of the United States Sub treasury building for National Maritime Day in 1944.
