The issues seamen faced both on and off were very real and very basic. The food on board could be soggy bread and stew every meal, every day, for weeks on end. The mess halls were aptly named, often dank and rat infested. This flyer is for the International Seamen’s Club restaurant. The International Seamen's Club was run by the Communist Party, just a few doors down from SCI.
